Shiny Goals

The Shiny Goals modifier adds special visual effects to randomly selected goals on the board.

  • Random goals are made “shiny” with CSS visual effects
  • What shiny goals do is entirely up to the user’s interpretation

If left on auto then the following rules will be applied:

  • Number of shiny goals = board width - 2
  • Example: 5x5 board has 3 shiny goals
  • Every set of 3 goals contains 1 shiny goal
  • The shiny goal could be the center goal of the set
  • If combined with No Center modifier and the shiny goal is in the center, it will be removed

Otherwise, the number of shiny goals can be determined by the user with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 15. Custom amount does not apply for Rush.

Shiny goals can mean anything you decide:

  • Bonus points or achievements
  • Special completion requirements
  • Alternative win conditions
  • Personal challenges or restrictions
  • Any custom rule you want to apply
