Shiny Goals
The Shiny Goals modifier adds special visual effects to randomly selected goals on the board.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Random goals are made “shiny” with CSS visual effects
- What shiny goals do is entirely up to the user’s interpretation
Number of shiny goals
Section titled “Number of shiny goals”If left on auto then the following rules will be applied:
Square boards (Bingo / Ascend)
Section titled “Square boards (Bingo / Ascend)”- Number of shiny goals = board width - 2
- Example: 5x5 board has 3 shiny goals
Rush mode
Section titled “Rush mode”- Every set of 3 goals contains 1 shiny goal
- The shiny goal could be the center goal of the set
- If combined with No Center modifier and the shiny goal is in the center, it will be removed
Otherwise, the number of shiny goals can be determined by the user with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 15. Custom amount does not apply for Rush.
User interpretation
Section titled “User interpretation”Shiny goals can mean anything you decide:
- Bonus points or achievements
- Special completion requirements
- Alternative win conditions
- Personal challenges or restrictions
- Any custom rule you want to apply
