Shiny Goals
The Shiny Goals modifier adds a special visual effect to randomly selected goals on the board, giving them a glowing border and background.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Random goals are marked as “shiny” with a visual effect. What shiny goals mean in gameplay is entirely up to you.
Auto behaviour
Section titled “Auto behaviour”If left on auto, the number of shiny goals depends on the board geometry:
Grid and Pyramid boards (Bingo / Ascend / Summit)
Section titled “Grid and Pyramid boards (Bingo / Ascend / Summit)”The number of shiny goals is the square root of the total board size (rounded down).
For example: a 5×5 board (25 cells) gets 5 shiny goals. An 8×8 board (64 cells) gets 8.
In auto mode, every set of 3 goals contains exactly 1 randomly selected shiny goal.
Custom amount
Section titled “Custom amount”You can manually set the number of shiny goals from 1 to 15. Goals are randomly selected across the entire board.
User interpretation
Section titled “User interpretation”Shiny goals can mean anything you decide:
- Bonus points or achievements
- Special completion requirements
- Alternative win conditions
- Personal challenges or restrictions
- Any custom rule you want to apply
