Updates
Schedule
Section titled “Schedule”Updates and routine server maintenance occur every Sunday at around 12:00 UTC.
This is an approximate start time, and it may vary slightly. To avoid disappointment, please avoid scheduling any important runs/events around this time.
Routine Maintenance
Section titled “Routine Maintenance”If there is no app update, then only routine maintenance will be performed. This usually takes only a few minutes.
Any games that are currently being played will temporarily be disconnected. They will automatically reconnect when the maintenance is complete.
App Updates
Section titled “App Updates”App updates happen whenever they are ready. There is no set schedule for how often they will be released but they will always be released during the Sunday scheduled maintenance.
App updates can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the changes.
Bug Fixes
Section titled “Bug Fixes”Bug fixes are applied as soon as they are identified. There is no set schedule, but disruption is kept to a minimum.
Roadmap
Section titled “Roadmap”There is no definitive roadmap for the app. Features are implemented as they’re ready.
Some things on the horizon:
- New game mode(s)
- Leaderboards viewable on the website
- Play weekly challenges instantly from the site
- Server-side game management
And plenty more planned beyond that!
