Blank Goals

Blank Goals is a modifier that hides the text of selected goals on the board, replacing them with blank cells.

Selected goals become blank and their text and icons are hidden. What blank goals mean in gameplay is entirely up to you.

If left on auto, the default blanks depend on the board geometry:

The centre of the board is made blank:

  • Odd dimensions (e.g. 5×5, 7×7): The single centre cell
  • Even dimensions (e.g. 4×4, 6×6): The centre 4 cells
  • Mixed dimensions (e.g. 7×5): The centre 2 cells along the even axis

The centre goal of every set of 3 is made blank.

The middle row of the pyramid is made blank.

You can manually set the number of blank goals from 1 to 15. When a custom amount is set, goals are randomly selected across the entire board.

Blank goals can mean anything you decide:

  • Free spaces that count as already completed
  • Goals that are unavailable and can’t be completed
  • Goals where surrounding objectives must be completed first to reveal them
  • Any other custom rule you want to apply
