Rules

The following rules apply to the Lockout leaderboards and seasons. Different rules may apply for tournaments and other events

Unless stated, or there’s an issue with the site, leaderboards runs should be ran on beta.lockout.live

All Goals Marked

You don’t have to mark off goals straight away as you complete them but all goals must be marked before pausing the timer, for your final time.

Caution

If you forget to mark off a goal (but you still completed it), you must add 5 seconds per missing goal to your final time.

If you incorrectly mark off a goal that gives an advantage (such as in Ascend or Rush), you must add 5% to your final time.

Goal Completion

As a rule of thumb, for goals requiring you to possess items (e.g., ‘Have 10,000 gold’), you must hold them all simultaneously when marking the goal. For goals based on actions (e.g., ‘Defeat Boss X’), the goal is considered complete after the action.

Routing

If pre-routing is allowed, you can attempt & submit as many times as you like. If pre-routing is not allowed, you must attempt the board blind and only submit your first run.

Note

You can stream blind runs, with a chat window open. However, you should keep helpful information from the chat to a minimum.

You should not run blind runs with the help of other people, i.e. in a voice chat, or running at the same time as other people, sharing information as you go.

Game Specific Rules

All runs should follow any game specific rules laid our in their respective categories, which may cover allowed/banned glitches & exploits, game versions etc
