Schedule

Updates and routine server maintenance occur every Sunday at around 12:00 UTC.

This is an approximate start time, and it may vary slightly. To avoid disappointment, please avoid scheduling any important runs/events around this time.

Routine Maintenance

If there is no app update, then only routine maintenance will be performed. This usually takes only a few minutes.

Any games that are currently being played will temporarily be disconnected. They will automatically reconnect when the maintenance is complete.

App Updates

App updates happen whenever they are ready. There is no set schedule for how often they will be released but they will always be released during the Sunday scheduled maintenance.

App updates can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the changes.

Bug Fixes

Bug fixes are applied as soon as they are identified. There is no set schedule, but disruption is kept to a minimum.

Roadmap

There is no definitive roadmap for the app

The following features are the most likely to be implemented, but there are no guarantees on if or when they will be released.

• Summit game mode
• Draft game mode
• Leaderboards viewable on the website
• Play weekly challenges instantly from the site
• Review and redesign of game JSON format & editors
  • More balanced ranges for goals
  • One goal defined for multiple icon sets to reduce duplication
  • Categories and board generation improvements
  • Goals that if selected, can exclude other goals
  • Combining the UI & code editor to edit the same game
• Server-side game management

And then there’s about 100+ other things that are planned!
